A portable equipment lead must remain usable when the work moves outside the clean electrical room. H07RN-F is a harmonized flexible rubber-cable family for demanding power connections. Buyers should translate the actual movement, weather and handling into a specification rather than rely on the general word heavy-duty.

Inside the cable

The selected H07RN-F reference uses class 5 flexible copper conductors, EPR rubber insulation and a polychloroprene-type outer sheath. The 07 identifies a 450/750 V voltage category, while the flexible construction differs from fixed-installation single-core H07V-K. Core count and earth identification matter: a 3G configuration includes a green/yellow protective conductor, whereas an X designation identifies a configuration without that earth core.

Where it is used

Typical enquiries involve industrial or agricultural equipment, portable tools and suitable temporary power connections. Buyers may need bulk reels, cut lengths or cables to be incorporated into an equipment assembly. The complete equipment use determines conductor count and termination requirements. A flexible rubber cable should not be treated as a universal answer for mining, submerged pumps or continuous robotic movement.

Ratings and selection points

Temperature limits differ between fixed and flexed service and between product formulations. Use the selected manufacturer’s actual limits rather than one temperature number for every condition. Permanent submersion requires a specifically suitable cable; ordinary H07RN-F should not be assumed equivalent to a submersible designation. Oil resistance, bend radius, mechanical stress and connector sealing should be reviewed for the intended operating environment.

A clearer factory RFQ

For portable three-core power, specify cross-section in mm², 3G core identification, voltage, lengths and termination drawings where needed. Describe movement, outdoor exposure, oil, low-temperature handling and any water contact. Include the required European product documents so the factory can confirm a defined construction and approval scope.

Compare the TGS H07RN-F configurations for the available reference size tables. State the required conductor resistance, nominal dimensions, test documents and marking for the exact order. Reference tables and illustrations guide the enquiry; the agreed drawing and approved specification define production.

Manufacturing in Vietnam with TGS

TGS Cable Industrial is a large manufacturing group producing wire and cable in Vietnam. The group has served Costco, Walmart, Target and many other customers for more than five years. That company-wide experience informs our work with importers, distributors and retail supply programmes. For your H07RN-F enquiry, our factory team reviews the construction, destination requirements, quantities and packing before confirming the order.

Frequently asked questions

Can H07RN-F be used continuously underwater?

Do not assume it. Permanent submersion needs an expressly suitable cable and documented conditions. Review a submersible construction where required.

Is 3G2.5 the same as 3X2.5?

No. G indicates an included green/yellow protective core; X indicates no such core. Both the count and identification must match the equipment design.

Technical references

Manufacturer references explain the representative cable family and construction. They do not certify a TGS product. The agreed order drawing, product marking and applicable approval documents define the supplied cable.
